Heritage Constraint Site Assessment – Kent
A detailed planning appraisal of a residential development opportunity within a Conservation Area, adjacent to Grade II Listed Buildings. The assessment covered statutory policy review, heritage constraint analysis, precedent research across comparable LPA decisions, capacity evaluation, and strategic recommendations for de-risking the proposal.
The report identified a viable scheme of 1-2 bespoke dwellings, outlined the specialist inputs required, and provided a clear action plan for the client to progress the site.
About Me
I’m Mo, a freelance town planning consultant specialising in residential site finding and desktop planning analysis for UK clients.
I hold an MPlan from Sheffield Hallam University, an RTPI accredited qualification, and I’m a Licentiate Member of the RTPI working towards Chartered status.
I’ve spent the past year working exclusively with a UK housing developer, building practical experience in site identification, constraint analysis, and planning research across multiple LPA areas. I work remotely and serve UK clients exclusively, combining professional planning knowledge with a methodical, detail-oriented approach.
I’m also developing geospatial analysis capabilities using Python, bringing additional data-driven depth to planning research and site screening work.
