Who runs this site
townplannermo.co.uk is run by Mo Al-Ghorairy, an independent town planning consultant working with UK clients. For anything in this notice, email townplannermo@pm.me.
What this site collects
Nothing that identifies you. There is no contact form, no sign-up, no newsletter and no account. Nothing you do on these pages is recorded or sent anywhere by the site itself.
There is also no analytics of any kind. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps. The site does not know how many people visit it or what they look at.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies. That is why you have not been asked to accept any.
The one thing stored on your device is your light or dark theme choice, kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. It stays on your device, is never sent to a server, and contains nothing about you. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Fonts and other files
Every font, image and stylesheet is served from this site's own domain. Nothing is loaded from a third-party content network, so no other company is told that you visited, and your IP address is not passed to anyone by simply opening a page.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Netlify and served over HTTPS. Like any web host, Netlify keeps standard server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These can include your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser type. Those logs are Netlify's, are held briefly, and are not used to build any profile of you. The lawful basis is legitimate interests in running and securing the site. Netlify publishes its own privacy notice.
Links to other services
Two external services are linked from these pages:
- LinkedIn, from the profile links in the header and footer.
- Proton Calendar, from the booking buttons.
Neither is embedded, so neither loads or receives anything unless you click through. Once you do, that company's own privacy notice applies, not this one. If you book a consultation, the name, email address and any message you give go to Proton, and I receive them so I can meet you. I use that information to arrange and hold the consultation, and I do not add you to any marketing list.
Client work
This notice covers the website. Information handled during paid work for a client is separate and governed by the terms agreed with that client. Client sites and landowner details are never published on this site, and the sample deliverables here are anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it is used. Because this site holds nothing beyond the host's server logs, there is usually little to give, but email the address above and I will answer. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this site ever gains a form, analytics or anything else that collects data, this notice will be updated first and the date at the top will change.
